As from 1st July 2019 (with an implementation period to January 2020) the Bar Standards Board have implemented mandatory rules on transparency.

These rules require that Dr Powers KC provides the following information to you:

The most commonly used pricing model for Dr Powers’s legal services is on an hourly rate of £600.00 plus VAT. He practices in common law, particularly in those cases where there are complex issues of medicine or science.

The time scale for doing work depends upon its complexity and urgency. As all his instructions are done by Dr Powers KC himself, completion of them depends upon his work load at the time of instruction and whether or not he is in court but his clerk Greg will be able to provide an indication of timescale on request.
